Honor has started the MagicOS 11 Early Access Program for selected top-tier devices in China. The new Android 17-based software iteration is open to a limited number of users for testing and exploring in advance, alongside giving feedback accordingly.
MagicOS page on Weibo reveals that the company has begun a new software recruitment program for its users – Honor MagicOS 11 Pioneer Edition (Early Access).
The recruitment is open for only two days – June 16-18. Interested MagicOS phone users or tech enthusiasts can participate in the latest testing activity with a few steps.
Firstly, register yourself for the early access program through the My Honor application. Just open the app, visit the Club segment, and tap on MagicOS. Click on the MagicOS 11 Liquid Glass Early Access Pioneer Recruitment Program.
Now follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure that your Honor handset is running on the MagicOS 10.0.0.160 version. The company will review your submitted application by June 22 or 23 in batches, and will take time to push the new version.
Honor MagicOS 11 Early Access: Eligible Devices
MagicOS 11 Pioneer Edition is open for limited handsets at the moment. If you have the below given devices, you can take part in the new “early access” program:
- Honor Magic 8
- Honor Magic 8 Pro
- Honor Magic 8 Pro Air
- Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design
Note that, being an early version, the update can bring some bugs or issues with respect to stability, device performance, battery draining, overheating, and more. Hence, proceed with the update installation at your own potential risk.
