Honor is adding a significant feature to its MagicOS 10 July 2026 update – a 120FPS screen mirroring. It will be the industry’s first screencasting function with 120 frames per second capability. The company will roll it out with the upcoming software version.
A Weibo tipster revealed that Honor will release the MagicOS 10 July 2026 update for its phones and tablets with a 120FPS screen mirroring feature. It’ll replace the 60FPS capability with the new addition, eliminating the limitation for its devices.
Screen mirroring refers to the process of duplicating the ongoing content on your phone’s display onto a larger one, say, a TV, laptop monitor, or projector, in real-time.
Content like apps, photos, or notifications will appear on the larger screen via a wireless connection, without affecting the display quality. When enabled, the feature sends a visual duplicate of your current device’s screen to another under the same network.
Up to this point, Honor devices have supported 60FPS screen projection. But the company is now introducing 120FPS capability. The number reflects how the device generates and pushes an individual image to the screen every 8.3 seconds.

A higher frame rate leads to smoother motion, less blurry views, and faster input responsiveness. The overall visuals appear more fluid and natural on the screen.
The new feature will further enable users to share the new screen projection function with up to three devices at the same time. Following the leak, when a netizen asked if mobile phones and tablets would get the feature in the future, the tipster responded:
“Yes, it’s the same. It is the industry’s first to offer 120FPS screen mirroring across three devices.”
Honor will soon start sending the MagicOS 10 July 2026 update to all eligible models. Ensure updating your devices to receive the latest features and new improvements in a timely.
