Honor will launch a new file-sharing feature for gamers with the upcoming MagicOS updates. The new capability will enable users to download the latest version of a gaming application and easily share it with nearby friends for dynamic group play.
MagicOSAssistant on Weibo – the official Product Maintenance page of Honor reveals that the company has collaborated with the Honor of Kings game by Tencent.
This new collaboration has unveiled an advanced file-sharing feature for all games on Honor MagicOS devices called – Near-Field Fast Transfer of Game Resources.
According to the details, the new capability will enable one person to install the latest version of the “Honor of Kings” game and share it with near friends to update quickly. It can download the app build with a speed of up to 100MB/s.

It can automatically transfer the new version after a successful connection. A notable point is that the sharing devices should be within 10 meters during the transfer. Also, do not switch to background apps or restart the game while sharing.
The feature description also says that it will occupy the device’s data channel during which screen mirroring, dual Wi-Fi acceleration, and other functions will be unavailable. But don’t worry, as the data will be restored after the quick transfer ends.
Honor will probably roll out the new file-sharing feature for gamers with the MagicOS July 2026 update. Ensure that your device is up-to-date to grab the latest enhancements.
