Honor has recently launched a new size variant for its MagicPad 3 Pro – a 12.3-inch model. The company has launched the new tablet not only with a size difference, but also with superior display parameters over the original version. Let’s check in detail.
The new compact Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3-inch tablet comes with a slightly smaller display but holds some meaningful upgrades compared to the 13.3 variant.
Unlike the original model with an IPS display panel supporting 1100 nits peak brightness, the newly launched variant has an OLED screen with 3000 nits maximum brightness – a major upgrade that promises clearer visibility than before.
Instead of an IPS panel, the OLED screen has more advantages, like deeper blacks, better contrast, 5280Hz PWM dimming, and just 3.9mm bezels. At a glance, the overall viewing experience gets improved with the all-new MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3.
Another highlight is the slimness and lightness of the new tablet variant. As per the official details, the MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3-inch model is 4.8mm slim and weighs only 450 grams. On the flip side, the original variant is 5.79mm with a weight of 595 grams.

Other specs are quite the same as the original variant. The tablet uses the 5th Gen Snapdragon 8 chipset with octa-core architecture, MagicOS 10 (Android 16).
The rear camera has a single 13MP primary lens with an F/2.0 aperture and autofocus capability. Meanwhile, the front face carries a 9MP snapper for video conferencing.
MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3-inch tablet has a 10100mAh cell pack (smaller than the original one) with 66W fast wired and 27W reverse wired charging, a bidirectional gas-liquid circulating VC, an Honor Star Ring Four Antenna structure for fast and stable connection, and a special PC mode for external displays.
Price and Availability
Honor has opened the MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3 for sale in the home market, starting at 3999 yuan. It has two main RAM + internal storage variants with the following rates:
- MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3 (8GB + 256GB) = 3999 yuan
- MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3 (16GB + 512GB) = 5699 yuan
