After Huawei, Honor is seemingly introducing a PRO MAX smartphone to its family this month – X80 Pro Max. The device is expected to go official by the end of June with a jumbo battery, a significant charging capability, and a flagship design.
Honor renews its X-series phone lineup every year. X70 debuted in July last year with an 8300mAh cell pack. In 2026, the company seems to have new surprises not just on the specs level but also regarding the device’s name.
DigitalChatStation reveals that the long-rumored Honor X80 will debut as the Honor X80 Pro Max later this month. Instead of a 10000mAh battery, it will probably bring a massive 11000mAh huge capacity cell pack with 90W fast charging.
The device will also feature a 6.8-inch OLED flat screen with 2788 x 1280 pixel resolution. The screen will be attached to a right-angle frame, offering a slim design profile. Meanwhile, it will showcase ultra-narrow bezels.
X80 Pro Max can come with a flagship-level appearance. Whether it will use the same camera module or bring changes in terms of colors is uncertain at present.
For the chipset, the Honor X80 Pro Max could use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile SoC. It is a premium mid-range 4nm processor with an octa-core configuration:
- 4 x Cortex-A720 performance cores @ 2.6GHz
- 4 x Cortex-A520 efficiency cores @ 2.0GHz
Other upgrades could be visible regarding water and drop resistance as well as software capabilities. The camera parameters are missing from the frame at the moment. Though the device will likely be official this month. Hence, we may soon grab more details.
