Honor X80 Pro Max survived 17 hours of battery test in 45°C desert


Honor X80 Pro Max went through a very tough battery life test ahead of its official unveiling and came out with flying colors. A group of satellite engineers tested the upcoming PRO MAX smartphone in a hot desert with a 45°C temperature.

Sources revealed that some frontline satellite inspection engineers in their satellite launch base at the Gobi Desert, Ningxia, performed Honor X80 Pro Max battery test.

Engineers have been working for 17 hours straight a day. From equipment inspections to data verification, the entire process requires communication, recording, and equipment power. And the new phone proved a great help in this procedure.

The new handset allows engineers to work for 17 hours in a row, covering the entire processing cycle despite being in the hot, sizzling desert with a 45°C temperature.

As per the test, the smartphone showed an 89% battery level at 11:11 AM after going through various usage scenarios like equipment debugging, navigation, communication, meetings, and testing. At 4:25 AM the next day, the battery level reached 26%.

These details hint that the Honor X80 Pro Max will bring ultimate battery life to users alongside major reliability. The real-life test already declares the upcoming phone as a powerful battery creation.
