Huawei has officially announced that Jackson Yee is the new global brand ambassador for the Huawei Pura 90 series, the next-gen flagship Pura smartphones.
Jackson Yee is a prominent Chinese singer, dancer, and actor, widely known for his popular C-pop boy group TFBOYS. He has previously been seen as the brand ambassador of the Nova series, mid-range smartphones.
With the announcement, Huawei released a visual of Jackson Yee holding the new orange ocean gradient color of the Pura 90 series. The image is composed with matching colors to promote the new device.
This announcement was followed by another post on Weibo showing the video of Jack Yee capturing video and explaining the new smartphone’s camera capabilities.
Huawei will launch the Pura 90 series on April 20, including the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max. The two versions will be available in gradient colors, making a return since the P30 series era.
Based on previous leaks, the Pura 90 Pro Max will feature a 200MP telephoto camera, supporting 20x telephoto zoom and staggering image quality. The phone will offer the latest HarmonyOS operating system with agentic-AI capabilities.
With a new global ambassador, the Huawei Pura 90 series can further expand the spirit of new smartphone launches that resonate with its new brand strategy.
