Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max has exceeded the iPhone 17 Pro in the sales race for the 16th week of 2026. But there’s a big catch – the latest Enjoy phone has now slipped to the third position from the top spot, giving the first two ranks to Apple’s handsets.
RDObservation has recently shared its analysis on the Chinese smartphone sales market for the 16th week of 2026, where Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 models are still ruling the first three spots.
Although the catch is that the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max is now standing in the third rank. The first spot goes back to iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 stands in second.
Even though there’s not much difference between the market share of the first three models, the listing shows that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is still seeing a strong craze in China.
The fourth rank goes again to Apple’s 2025 flagship – iPhone 17 Pro. While the fifth ranker is the Huawei Mate 80. Overall, Huawei and Apple’s top-tier models are ruling the Chinese smartphone market at present with their extremely prominent features.
Further details show that despite changes in the smartphone sales ranking, Huawei is still in the lead with 23.2% market share in China for the 16th week of this year.

Apple and OPPO are in the second spot as both share a similar market share – 15.8%. Vivo appears in third position with 15% share. Xiaomi is fourth in this section with a 14.2% market share, and Honor lies in fifth place with a market share of 10.5%.
The listing suggests that Apple and Huawei are currently the two brands fighting for the smartphone market crown in China. The Chinese OEM has maintained its lead for the first quarter. It would be worth seeing if things remain the same in Q2 2026.
