Huawei launches new enterprise smartwatch with notable health upgrades


Huawei today launched a new enterprise smartwatch – Qingyun H3550 with significant health and fitness upgrades. It is a commercial wearable and looks quite similar to the Apple Watch series. However, its internal specifications and capabilities are worth noting.

Qingyun H3350 commercial smartwatch debuts in Rhythmic Black color. It measures 42.9 x 38.2 x 9.5mm, has a wrist size of 130-210 mm, and weighs 27 grams.

At a glance, the device appears identical to the Watch D series. It has a giant squarish dial with a rotating crown and a small functional button, separated by a little bump.

The bezels around the 1.82-inch AMOLED screen are quite thin. The display supports 480 x 408-pixel resolution, 347 PPI, and 2500-nit peak brightness. It is attached to a black fluoroelastane strap, while the dial case is made of aluminum alloy.

According to the official details, the new enterprise-based Huawei Qingyun H3550 smartwatch comes with significant health upgrades. It has customized features that enable users to make the utmost use of the new product.

Huawei says that it provides many customized services for businesses, such as customizable startup logos, preset watch faces, outer packaging boxes, watch strap colors, and printing.

Besides, the H3550 smartwatch supports various methods like an enhanced Software Development Kit, direct connection of surface-side application data, and cloud data docking. It also offers sports and health data services to enterprise customers.

Regarding health and fitness, H3550 leverages Huawei Cloud’s professional health monitoring and communication technologies. It supports precise digital health management services to the grassroots communities and enterprises.

The device can monitor health data for long-term + provide early warnings of risk with any kind of disease. It has an efficient home-based rehabilitation for those outside of hospitals. Huawei has also collaborated with insurance and financial partners to create wearable-based solutions, offering diverse services.

In addition, the OEM has upgraded the smartwatch with 6 LEDs + 6 PD PPG modules for more accurate heart rate and blood oxygen detection. It supports HRV (Heart Rate Variability) indicators, which can be used to understand the body’s adaptation and recovery status. You can adjust your exercise rhythm accordingly and scientifically plan your workouts.

Other features include smart monitoring of blood oxygen SpO2, TruSleep 5, a brand-new sleep structure assessment with a dynamic pattern of deep sleep (N3), light sleep (N1/N2), and rapid eye movement (REM) cycles, which reflects the inherent regularity.

Multidimensional Emotional Health Management, women’s health segment to record the menstrual cycle, health summary that integrates trends in heart health, stress, and exercise, mini-workout assistant, cycling, running, ball sports mode, and providing comprehensive analysis are some other enhancements.

Huawei Qingyun H3550 commercial smartwatch has a 10-day battery life in light usage scenario, 7 days in typical use, and 4-day in AOD mode.
