According to the information, the sales of the Huawei Pura X Max have just exceeded the first Pura foldable in China by a huge margin. The flagship fold model is seeing a hike of 215% in shipments over its predecessor.
During the Beijing Auto Show 2026, the Chairman of the Huawei Consumer Business and Automotive Business revealed that Pura X Max is a blockbuster model in the market.
The device has broken all records of foldable smartphones regarding the first-day sales, showing impressive demand among consumers. He said, “Pura X Max is sold out.”
Meanwhile, RDObservation noted that Huawei Pura X Max has surpassed the first-generation foldable in sales by a massive share of 215%. The credit goes to its amazing features, incredible design, top-notch specifications, and the chipset performance.
Pura X Max equipped with Kirin 9030 Pro and HarmonyOS 6.1 software system. This combination gives a significant boost to the entire device, making it efficient in every aspect.

On the other hand, the foldable has adopted a new form factor that makes it look cool and strong enough to challenge Apple’s first iPhone Fold coming later this year. The device packs bigger display panels, which are as follows:

Huawei Pura X Max has a 50MP super-zoom camera RYYB, a 12.5MP ultrawide-angle lens RYYB, a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter RYYB with 3.5x zoom, and a second-generation multispectral lens. The front faces have an 8MP selfie snapper. The cell pack is 5300mAh, coupled with 66W wired charging, 50W wireless, and wireless reverse charging.
