Huawei revealed at the MWC 2026 Shanghai event that it will continue to bring 5G-A solutions, primarily centered on user experience. The company shed light on this plan during the 5G-Advanced Industry Evolution Summit.
The Chinese tech giant discussed how to build new network capabilities that will focus on three changes based on intelligent new services. It aims to boost network tech innovations for high-bandwidth, high-experience networks, and more.
Since last year, Huawei has been aiming to bring 5G-A network solutions to its mobile devices, driving the communications industry from technologically evolvable to commercially sustainable.
Yang Yang, the President of Huawei Carrier Business Group, defined what a user experience-centered 5G-A solution means. He said that it will be a multi-dimensional experience of 5G-A, inching towards large-scale commercial use.
Since traffic monetization based on different requirements is becoming quite important, continuous 5G-A innovation for the end-user experience is now the fundamental driving force for the progress of communication tech.
Many analysts believe that 5G-A is progressing rapidly in standard settings, network construction, and commercial exploration. Hence, it’s time to work on the network infrastructure as well, strengthening its core capabilities.
Li Jie, the President of Huawei’s Wireless TDD Product Line, said:
“Huawei will continue to boost technological innovation, focusing on multi-frequency pooling, uplink enhancement, and three-dimensional collaboration to create a network centered on user experience. We also call on the industry to work together to accelerate the development of Mobile AI intelligent applications, jointly build a 5G-A intelligent industry ecosystem, and lay the foundation for the development of the mobile communications industry, technology, and commerce.”
