Huawei’s 10000mAh battery phone ambitions surfaced once again

Early rumors suggested that Huawei is planning a new mid-range phone with a 10000mAh battery. Now, a new piece of information is here, shedding more light on this matter and suggesting which device can be the first in the Huawei family to feature this cell capacity.

Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation mentioned that Huawei is testing a new 10000mAh battery for its upcoming mid-range phone. The company has been evaluating a big cell capacity for a few weeks and may soon embed it in a new handset.

Looks like after Honor and Xiaomi, Huawei is also planning to join the big battery phone race. Up to this point, the company has been gradually increasing the cell capacity for its flagship handsets. But it’s seemingly the turn of mid-rangers.

Following the leak, many netizens speculated that Huawei could use this dynamic cell pack for the upcoming Nova smartphone series. And this might be true!

Previous inputs noted that the Huawei Nova 16 Ultra can feature a massive 7000mAh battery. But based on the latest information, it seems the OEM can switch to an even bigger cell capacity for the new-gen mid-rangers.

Jumping to any conclusions at the moment won’t be right. Hence, let’s wait for more revelations on this matter.

Last year, Huawei launched the Mate 80 series with a 6000mAh cell, while the high-end Nova 15 phones have a 6500mAh battery. The company then surprised everyone with the Enjoy 90 Pro Max, which carries an 8500mAh battery capacity.

Whether the upcoming Huawei Nova handsets will further set a new mark in the battery segment with a 10000mAh cell pack or feature the earlier rumored capacity would be worth looking forward to!
