Huawei has now confirmed that the world’s slimmest tablet – the MatePad Pro Max supports NearLink Audio features. While the device already has the NearLink technology, the company has now affirmed audio enhancements for the tablet as well.
MatePad Pro Max debuted for the first time last month at the Now Is Your Spark event. Huawei launched it as the thinnest tablet to date, surpassing Honor and Apple.
Later, the device entered the Chinese market as the world’s first tablet with a multispectral sensor. Now the company is keeping on top among its tablets for another segment.
The Huawei MatePad Pro Max official product page now confirms that it is compatible with NearLink Audio. Earlier, the company announced NearLink support for the respective tablet. But specific details were under wraps on this matter.
With the new audio enhancement, MatePad Pro Max becomes the first and only tablet in the family to support NearLink Audio. It runs on E2.0 version and can support connection with FreeBuds Pro 5, FreeClip 2, and FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition.
NearLink Audio is Huawei’s self-developed connectivity solution for sound-based devices. It is a short-range wireless technology and debuted as a way better alternative to Bluetooth for audio transmission.
The respective tech solution not only delivers massive leaps in speed, but also significantly lower latency, and lossless audio quality with reduced power consumption.
