Xiaomi finally announced the most-awaited Xiaomi 17 Max today, alongside its key specifications like a large flat screen and a MAX battery life. The OEM has confirmed the smartphone’s launch for this month. Although the exact date is still missing.
The Chinese tech giant today shared the first teaser of the Xiaomi 17 Max and announced its design + prime parameters. Starting with the appearance, the new device continues the Xiaomi 15 series-like look with a square camera bump on the back.
It comes in three standard color schemes: Blue, White, and Black. Xiaomi has used a special carbon fibre finish on the smartphone, making it appealing as well as durable.
Notably, the particular variant is exclusive to selected models, while the other have a ceramic rear panel. Apart from the design, Xiaomi has also focused on other major aspects like the camera and battery, promising a “fully upgraded” user experience.
Going with the teaser, the Xiaomi 17 Max features a 6.9-inch flat screen, but it is more than just a bigger phone than its Xiaomi 17 siblings. While Xiaomi did not mention other parameters of the upcoming device, it says:
“Brand New #Xiaomi17Max#, will be released this month. New member of Xiaomi Mi 17 series, 6.9-inch super large straight screen. Image Max, battery life Max, screen Max, performance Max. Redefine the large-screen standard version flagship and invite you to witness it.”
Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to bring an 8000mAh battery with 100W wired + 50W wireless charging, a 200MP giant main camera + 50MP ultrawide-angle + a 50MP periscope telephoto snapper with 3x optical zoom. How many of these specs turn out to be true will come into light later this month.
