Xiaomi has launched another super iconic watch in China with 21-day battery life against Huawei wearables called – Watch S5. The smartwatch brings new enhancements in terms of screen and durability, challenging some top-tier brands once again!
The Xiaomi Watch S5 with 21-day battery life debuts with a luxurious look and dynamic specs. It is available in a 46mm dial size housing a big 1.48-inch AMOLED panel. That’s bigger than the previous-gen model – Watch S4 with a 1.43-inch screen.
AMOLED display panel in Xiaomi Watch S5 supports 480 x 480 pixels resolution with a 323 PPI. It covers a maximum brightness of 2500 nits. Although it’s still less than the Huawei GT 6 models running on 3000 nits brightness.

Here comes the key highlight – the Xiaomi Watch S5 supports 21 days of battery life under power-saving mode. Now that’s equivalent to Huawei’s Watch GT 6 series. The S5 variant runs for 9 days under normal use even when AOD is active.
It’s not the first time that Xiaomi has launched a wearable, which gives a full-swing competition to Huawei wearables. Watch 5 also has the same tag against Huawei smartwatches.
Furthermore, Xiaomi Watch S5 brings impressive health features. It has the potential of delivering 98.4% heart monitoring accuracy with an array of improved sensors. The list includes better sleep monitoring, GPS accuracy, and more.
Xiaomi Watch S5 is available in Black and Silver color options for 1099 yuan, featuring a simple look. However, the Midnight Blue promises a premium vibe with a cost tag of 1299 yuan.
