On March 23, Huawei launched the MateView GT 2026 series with some amazing features for gamers. The monitors have debuted in varied models showcasing a 27-inch screen, immersive sound effects, ultimate viewing experiences, and much more.
Without any further ado, let’s explore the new Huawei MateView GT 2026 series in full detail.
Starting with variants, MateView GT 2026 is available in four options: the Smooth – Standard and Sound Edition, and Ultra HD – Standard and Sound Editions.
Design: Huawei MateView GT 2026 has minimal aesthetics. It comes with a unique 19° fan blade cut surface on the back for efficient heat dissipation and highlights an impressive look.

Except for the body weights, all dimensions are the same for these newly unveiled monitors. MateView GT 2026 series supports a 27-inch IPS screen with a 16:9 screen ratio, P3 color gamut + 100% sRGB coverage, 1.07 billion colors, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, and 200Hz refresh rate (160Hz for Ultra HD models).
These screens feature an 178° viewing angle and 450 nits peak brightness (350 nits for Smooth Editions). Besides, they have a 4K resolution with a dual-mode system that enables users to easily switch to 1080p at up to 320Hz (2K for Smooth models).
Dual Mode: The feature enables seamless switching. The first option is a 4K 160Hz ultra-high-definition mode that delivers cinematic quality. The second one is a 1K 320Hz high refresh rate mode that provides a smooth gaming experience with fluid action.
Notably, the Ultra HD Sound Edition holds the Cloud Clear Soft Light or PaperMatte screen technology. As a result, it offers anti-glare and anti-reflection properties.

Connectivity + Sound Features
For connectivity, the latest Huawei MateView GT series offers two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 interface for the Ultra HD models. On the other hand, the Sound Edition has a USB-C port with 100W reverse charging. Here, the Smooth variants have a single HDMI 2.1 port + the DisplayPort.
Speaking of the sound setup, the new MateView GT 2026 series has a built-in 4.1-channel speaker system coupled with Huawei SOUND. It has multiple drivers that effectively manage low, mid, and high frequencies separately, offering cinematic sound quality.
Price: Huawei MateView GT series wears a price tag of 1099 yuan for the Smooth Standard Edition, and 1999 yuan for the Ultra HD Standard. In addition, the Smooth Sound costs 1499 yuan while the Ultra HD Sound costs 2599 yuan.
