Huawei has recently announced that the Game Assistant application will soon get new features. The company will soon push a new version for the respective app, and the HarmonyOS 6.1 beta testers will be the first to experience the new changes.
Game Assistant, also known as App Assistant or Game Space, is a system application in Huawei devices. It includes various features that help users boost their gaming performance without facing any interruptions.
While the company didn’t reveal what new changes the Game Assistant will get with the upcoming version, it mentioned “one-click access to the immersive space.”
Perhaps the Chinese tech giant will make the particular application more easily accessible to users through a single tap gesture. It may bring an enlarged tab of Game Assistant with more controls to manage the app or certain related operations.
Besides, it could bring a specific “Game Do Not Disturb’ mode, which will block system message notifications and incoming calls for an immersive gaming environment.
Huawei may further improve voice controls by enabling users to handle the game through voice commands – without the need to click the screen. It may support only a few games in the initial phase and could expand to more in the future.
Some existing features of the Huawei Game Assistant are: WeChat QQ support, screenshot and screen-recording, option to disable knuckle touch, brightness lock, and a high-performance mode.
To access the Game Space, users can open the Settings app on their Huawei handset and head towards the System section > tap on App Assistant. One can also pull down the search bar and enter the app directly.
