He Gang, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, has made a discreet, yet surprising revelation about the Watch Fit 5 Pro smartwatch, suggesting its near-future launch. The Huawei leader posted an image on Weibo showing the Huawei Health feature for cycling, consisting of a name “Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro.

Besides the image, He Gang didn’t say anything about the launch date, the design, or the features. However, we can look back at its predecessor. Unveiled in May last year, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro comes with a watch-like feature.
The watch frame is made of a 500MPa aluminum body for a lightweight and wear-resistant experience. It has a titanium alloy bezel for corrosion resistance and a sapphire screen for max durability.
This watch equips a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with 480 x 408 pixels resolution and 347 PPI. The screen offers a 3000 nit peak brightness, which offers clear visibility in daylight. The watch design is EN 13319 certified, which means it’s 40-meter dive-grade water resistant and IP6X dustproof.
With this feature, users experience features like apnea training and apnea testing, recording the user’s heart rate, SpO2, and breath-holding duration. You can prepare yourself with pro-level features like hover timer and water type identification for a better diving experience.
It has three different band options that offer a lightweight and breathable experience for longer use. The Watch Fit 4 Pro equips a new Barometer for better running detection and wealth data collection. This new hardware upgrade enables better positioning through tracks, slopes, and navigation areas. Huawei has packed this smartwatch with various fitness modes and workouts.
Furthermore, the ECG app keeps you updated with heart health and timely alerts on potential A-fib and premature beat risks. Personalization for the Watch brings mood-matching watch faces.
Coming to the battery, the Watch Fit 4 Pro is packed with a big battery, offering up to 10 days of maximum battery life and 7 days typical in just 60 minutes of charging.
