Amid several new launches, Huawei today introduced a new variant to its luxurious wearable lineup – the Watch Ultimate Star Diamond Edition. The device follows the royal appearance of the family, but primarily focuses on the female consumer market.
Starting with the looks, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Star Diamond Edition appears immensely beautiful. Instead of plain straps or an octagonal dial shape, the company has crafted the smartwatch with diamond elements.
From the dial to the strap and the main case, every piece of this wearable is covered in diamonds. Even the numbers like 12, 3, 6, and 9 on the watch’s dial are replaced by diamonds.
The company has also embedded these shining stones into the strap. While the previous versions show a dual crown setup on the wearable’s dial, the new Star Diamond Edition has a diamond crown coupled with a pill-shaped button.
On the other hand, the dial case features a diamond-cut pattern for a more decorative appearance compared to the other siblings in the same family.

Huawei says that the entire Watch Ultimate new edition contains around 99 natural diamonds, and 60 diamond facets around the sapphire glass, making it not only look good but also match the richness of other variants in the Ultimate Design series.

Apart from the design, the overall specs of the new Watch Ultimate Design Star Edition are somewhat the same as those of the other variants. It has the most comprehensive health management – thanks to the X-TAP Smart Button that enables users to check their health status in just a single tap.
Watch Ultimate Star Diamond Edition supports intelligent Fat Reduction + Body Shaping functions that recommend you workouts and a routine, benefiting your body.

Besides, it has a Hyperglycemia Risk Assessment that detects high blood sugar (glucose) in the body. It monitors if the body has too little insulin or cannot use it properly. It is characterized by blood glucose levels exceeding 125mg/dL fasting or 180mg/dL post-meal.
Features like a Mini-health checkup help users to gain insights into their health status, complete health detection in 60 seconds, and report up to 17 health indicators.
Other capabilities include smart car key control, eSIM calling, Celia AI top features, independent payment without the requirement of phones, and compatibility with iOS or Android devices.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Star Diamond is priced at 29,999 yuan and is open for pre-sale at present. It will enter the official sale stage on May 15.
