After three years of complete silence, Huawei today launched the Watch Buds 2 for its consumers. The company has unveiled the new 2-in-1 wrist gadget with notable upgrades this time. While the design hasn’t changed much, the device brings prominent shifts to the sound experience.
Let’s begin our exploration with the newly launched 2-in-1 Huawei Watch Buds 2.
Watch Buds 2 continues the very impressive fusion of a smartwatch paired with earbuds. It has three rich shades: Amber Brown, Obsidian Black, and Titanium Silver.
Unlike the first-generation, the new Watch Buds 2 reflect a vintage vibe. It has a plain brown leather strap showing saddle-colored thread stitches on the sides. The dial shows a separate void at the bottom, allowing users to easily grip it when opening.

Huawei has used an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case with a sturdy and lightweight structure. This design technology improves the wear resistance traits of the smartwatch by 200%.
Besides, the Watch Buds 2 weigh 54.5 grams and have dimensions of 47 x 47 x 14.69mm. The wrist size is 140-210mm. It uses a 1.5-inch AMOLED with ultra-narrow bezel flexible screen, a 466 x 466 pixels resolution, and 3000 nits peak brightness.

The buds cavity inside the smartwatch remains the same as the first model. Each earbud weighs nearly 4 grams and supports adaptive recognition irrespective of the left or right label. This simply means that you can use any bud on any ear.
Also, these earbuds have a built-in surround charging ring. As soon as you put them back into the watch with either side facing up, they will begin charging. These buds can play music for 3 hours with noise cancellation enabled, and 4 hours when disabled.

What’s even more special is the audio controls. One never has to worry about which earbud belongs to which ear – thanks to its adaptive nature. Moreover, users can control the volume of these buds right through the smartwatch.
In terms of health features, the newly launched Huawei Watch Buds 2 has a pulse wave atrial fibrillation and premature beat alerts, sleep apnea detection feature, high blood sugar risk assessment studies, and heart health studies function.
With features like Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, Tap to Pay, compatibility with Android and iOS devices, calendar, alarm clock, and more – Watch Buds 2 becomes your perfect companion for every task.
Price and Availability
Huawei Watch Buds 2 is now open for pre-orders and will join the official sale phase by April 25. All three color variants of the wearable differ in price.
For instance, the Brown and Black colors are available at 3488 yuan, and the Silver one is for 3988 yuan. The good news is that these rates decrease further after the Chinese subsidy plan:
