Android 17 QPR1 beta 1 is now available for Pixel users

Google rolled out the fourth beta of Android 17 last week and has now followed it up with the first Android 17 QPR1 beta. The new update is available for Pixel 6 and newer devices.

Ahead of Android 17’s stable release, expected in September, users can try upcoming refinements through the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1. Google notes that this beta build is stable enough for general use.

The update is available for devices ranging from the Pixel 6 to the latest Pixel 10a. Interested users can enroll in the Android Beta Program and install the QPR1 update. While the release doesn’t introduce major new features, Google has outlined several bug fixes in the official changelog.

Notably, users currently running the Android 17 beta can opt out by skipping the QPR1 beta and reverting to the stable channel without losing data.
