Xiaomi is reportedly working on HyperOS 3.3 beta internally on some top-tier smartphones. While the company is busy with the Android 17 Developer Preview Program for a flagship lineup, it has also started testing a new build version for its users.
The Chinese tech giant has recently announced the Android 17 Beta testing for the Xiaomi 17 series. Four top-notch devices are currently exploring the new software.
On the other hand, XimiTime noted that the company is evaluating the HyperOS 3.3 version on a few handsets, sparking speculations of a significant upgrade ahead of the HyperOS 4.0 stable release on a wider spectrum.
Inputs further reveal that the stable rollout of HyperOS 3.3 could be available only to those Xiaomi phones that are participating in the active beta pool. Others might have to wait for the subsequent software version releases or an official announcement.
Similar to HyperOS 2.3, the 3.3 version will likely serve as the base for the Android 17 major upgrade. Instead of any new changes, it will improve some existing features and UI elements to make the device compatible with the next software iteration.
