Huawei to launch these devices with price increase next month

July is almost here, and Huawei is ready to increase the price of its devices. A leak recently suggested that many consumer-based products could see a major cost hike. It looks like the company’s tablet lineup would be the first to face this challenge.

Memory chip shortage and trade war have led several brands to increase the price of their devices, and Huawei is also joining the pool. The company will reveal the cost increment on its products, starting July 1st.

The company has not revealed the price increase details or which devices will undergo this challenge yet. Though we have a list of expected tablets that may see a price hike.

Starting with the tablet, Huawei may launch refreshed editions of tablets for a price adjustment. The list counts the MatePad Pro Max, MatePad Edge 2-in-1, 12.2-inch MatePad Pro, MatePad Mini series, MatePad Air series, and the S-tagged models.

Coming to smartphones, the company could initially raise the price of the Enjoy series and move towards mid-range and flagship models. Though the exact devices are unclear at present.

Whether Huawei will introduce a price hike for smartwatches and earbuds or keep the adjustment limited to smartphones and tablets is doubtful for the moment. However, the air will be cleared from this topic, probably by tomorrow.
