Huawei Pura 90 series is on the sales shelf and up to this point, it has shipped 1.5 times more units than its predecessors. Interestingly, only two models of this top-tier lineup are available for shipment at present, and they are doing great in the market.
SmartChipInsider on Weibo has reported that the Huawei Pura 90 series has shipped far more units than the Pura 80 smartphones within the first five days of sales.
The lineup has sold over 1.5 times more units than the 2025 Pura handsets – all thanks to unique gradient color move, ultimate imaging factors, and Kirin 9030S chipset.
According to the official details, the company has currently opened the sales doors for the Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max models. Meanwhile, the vanilla model is still behind the scenes and will go on sale this month with its inverted triangle camera bump.
Following the new shipment data, the tipster mentioned that the Huawei Pura 90 series will likely sell more than 10 million units in its entire life cycle. He mentioned that the previous-generation phones didn’t meet expectations due to the OS issues.

Pura 90 Pro and PRO MAX devices have achieved record-breaking sales units right on the first day of their official release in the market. The initial stock of the newly launched handsets has exceeded 2 million units, which is a 40% hike over Pura 80.
On the other hand, the eye-catching Orange Ocean and Pink Guava shades are facing tight supply problems. In the coming days, the company might solve this shortage issue by further increasing production at a new pace.
