Huawei HarmonyOS 6.0 will likely hit a new “installations” milestone by the end of this month. A new piece of information reveals that the company’s self-developed software system is about to exceed 60 million device units and aims for a bigger figure.
As noted by @SuperDimensional on Weibo, Huawei HarmonyOS 6.0 will see a new hike in its installations this month. The native operating system may complete more than 60 million installations by the end of May 2026.
Following the news, many netizens in the comments section estimated that if the Huawei HarmonyOS 6.0 could go beyond 100 million units by the end of this year.
In response, other netizens said this speculation can turn into reality before the Spring Festival – probably by next year. Although the company seems to have different plans on this matter.
The CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, He Gang, announced in March that the latest HarmonyOS 5 and 6 versions have a combined installation of 50 million.
Now that accounts for 150,000 device activations per day. On the greener side, the tech giant even increased the number of available applications and services to 350,000.
Meanwhile, the total registered developers have exceeded 10 million. It looks like all these figures are going to exceed by the end of this month. Huawei has not confirmed the new input yet. The company may announce the relevant details in June while unveiling the new software version.
