Huawei today announced that HarmonyOS 6.0 has surpassed more than 60 million devices in terms of installations. While the news of the respective achievement has been in the rumors for a couple of days, the company has officially confirmed it.
Recently, a tipster suggested that the HarmonyOS 6.0 software system is on the verge of hitting the 60 million devices mark. Now, the Chinese tech giant revealed that its self-developed OS has achieved another major milestone.
The company said:
“Support #HarmonyOS6# The number of devices exceeded 60 million! The more you use it, the easier it is to use, and the more you use it, the more you love to use it. Thanks to all HarmonyOS partners for their trust and companionship.”
Notably, the HarmonyOS 5 and 6 versions are rapidly growing in the mobile OS market. It is scoring over 7.5 million installations in a month. As of now, the OEM aims to reach 100 million devices by the end of this year.

In the current landscape, Huawei has started releasing the HarmonyOS 6.1 software version to its eligible devices with new features and improvements. The update is bringing smart gallery tools, a new tablet mode for folding devices, and Game Assistant.
