Huawei today announced that the all-new Watch Kids X1 series is coming to China on May 29. The ultimate wearable lineup has already made its way to the global platform after five years. Now it is ready to hit the home ground with new upgrades.
Watch Kids X1 series debuted globally on May 7 alongside the world’s thinnest tablet and the Nova 15 Max smartphone, showcasing its unusual flip-style appearance.
After getting recognition in the overseas market, Huawei is ready to launch the Watch Kids X1 series in China on May 29, with interesting colorways and top-notch features.
The CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Unit, He Gang, announced that the Watch Kids X1 series is launching in the home market by the end of this month. At the same time, the executive revealed that the wearable is open for pre-sale.
Official details say that interested customers can book the new Huawei Watch Kids X1 series – standard or X1 Pro model from the VMall store. The vanilla variant is available at 1598 yuan in blue and pink, while the Pro one (black, purple) costs 2298 yuan.
He Gang said:
“Children’s Day is coming soon, and gifts for children can be cooler and make parents feel more at ease. #Huawei Supernova Watch# The X1 series starts pre-sale today. It will be officially launched on May 29.”
In addition, the executive mentioned a few details about the new children’s smartwatch. The wearable lineup can support floor positioning even after it has been shut down for 5 days straight. Besides, the wide screen makes the devices quite attractive.
Watch Kids X1 series has two cameras – one for the front face, while the other for the back, which makes photo-capturing fun. One can also easily add new friends by just shaking their hand (the one on which you wore the watch).
The company may also introduce some China-exclusive features to these new children’s wearables that may come into light on May 29. Stay tuned.
