A new piece of information from a credible tipster spills details on the price and launch date of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The device is expected to debut by the end of this month with a plethora of features, and that too at a pocket-friendly cost.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu has shared the possible launch date of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The flagship will likely enter the pre-order mode between December 15-25.
Meanwhile, the Chinese tech maker could officially unveil its new creation on December 26. If true, consumers will get a perfect present to enjoy this Christmas!
Regarding the price, the tipster said that there won’t be any major changes in terms of cost over the predecessor. For reference, Xiaomi 15 Ultra has come to the home ground with the following pricing tags (as per storage variants):
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra (12GB + 256GB) = 6499 yuan
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra (16GB + 1TB) = 7799 yuan
Thus, we can expect the same price for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra RAM + storage variants as well. However, an official confirmation still awaits this matter.

Apart from the launch date and price, the tipster mentioned that the prime factor behind the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s sale will be its dynamic 1-inch main camera sensor.
Xiaomi has seeded several Leica-based imaging functionalities to the new Ultra smartphone. One of these is the Leica coating, which seems to be an alternative to the Huawei multispectral camera technology.
Other details are currently behind the doors. But the mist on the new Ultra model will likely clear by the end of this month.
