Honor 500 series sparked a frenzy across China with its record-breaking sales. The sub-flagship smartphone lineup has surpassed its predecessors in shipment by nearly 135%. Both standard and Pro models are winning hearts in the consumer market.
While the exact number of units available has not been disclosed, the OEM has received a dynamic sales demand for the recently launched Honor 500 series phones.
RDObeservation on Weibo revealed the seven-day sales results of the Honor 500 handsets. It accounts for 50% of the previous-generation models and 100% of the Honor 200 models. But the surprising outcome is related to 300-tagged devices.
According to the leak, Honor 500 smartphones have seen a hike of 135% in sales over the Honor 300 lineup. Early reports suggested that the 300th series didn’t sell well last year compared to other digital phone lineups.
But the Honor 500 series seemingly covered all the sales losses of the past models. The credit goes to its super impressive design and outstanding tech features.

Further, the tipster mentioned that the standard Honor 500 phone accounts for about 60% of the overall sales. On the other hand, the Pro version holds 40% of sales.
This time, Honor has also increased the inventory over the previous-gen digital lineups. It would be interesting to see if we hear the same news for the global variants.
Notably, the Honor 500 series has already gone beyond expectations in the pre-order phase. Thus, booming sales of these smartphones won’t be a big surprise.
