Honor Magic 8 Pro Air smartphone’s design is the new topic of discussion among consumers, and the latest sketch leak sheds some light on this mystery. Alongside the looks outline, the new input reveals dimensions and key specs of the device.
RuigePlayDigital on Weibo shared the first sketch art of the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, revealing the back panel, camera bump design, and the edges of the new phone.
Interestingly, the sketch highlights an unoriginal lens module on the back – just like Apple’s slimmest handset. It appears that more brands are adopting the rail-like camera bump pattern for their “Airy” smartphones.
Looking at the new line art, the device will likely feature a wide and thick pill-like camera module housing three lens rings and a tiny sensor between the first and the second imaging sensors. These sensors will be packed in button-like layouts.
Coming to the edges, the Magic 8 Pro Air may continue the legacy of the AI button, right below the volume rockers and power button. It appears more like Honor 500 Pro’s sibling rather than a Magic smartphone.
The tipster adds that the Magic 8 Pro Air will measure 6.3mm in terms of thickness and will have an ultra-light body of only 158 grams. You can check the sketch.

Since the launch of the iPhone Air, we’ve come across a few devices that offer the same horizontal camera bump layout, spanning like a rail or a lifted straight bar on the upper part of the device’s back.
While the Google Pixel phones have been the brand ambassadors of this design, the entry of the iPhone Air has just changed the concept for every phone brand.
In the past few months, the Honor 500 series, Vivo S50 Pro, and more have embraced this design, and it looks like the Magic 8 Pro Air is on the same path.
Note that Honor hasn’t confirmed this sketch news yet. Hence, we have to wait for an official glimpse of the device to check if the leaks are taking us to right track.
