Huawei has released a new HarmonyOS 6 (6.0.0.130) software update for smartphones with personalized contact card images. This feature is not part of the changelog; instead, it’s an unannounced addition, but users quickly began to notice the upgrade as soon as they installed the new update.
According to the information, the new update brings a customized personal contact card with image support. This feature uses Huawei Cloud integration and saves the contact image on the cloud for multi-device synchronization.

Users can upload their photos from the local gallery or preset avatars to the cloud storage. Moreover, Huawei Cloud has added AI-generated avatars for a wider range of selection.
After signing into the account, the user avatar and nickname will be visible to other users when you share files with other Huawei devices. This avatar will also be visible on online interactions such as rating apps on AppGallery, posting on Huawei Forum, sending SMS, video calling, online gaming, and more.
You should know that the personalized contact card images are part of the latest HarmonyOS 6 update, and they will be released for all users in batches.
