Looks like Honor is collaborating with an AI tech company to launch an enhanced recording feature for MagicOS phones. The company is making headlines for joining hands with Plaud Technologies to launch impressive and more creative AI tools.
Plaud is an AI-powered voice recording hardware brand. It is familiar for its PLAUD NOTE – a ChatGPT-powered device that easily links phones via MagSafe to record, transcribe, and summarize calls and various in-person meetings with one touch.
According to the details, Honor and Plaud together are developing a new system-level AI recording feature. Plaud currently only offers software-level support, and it will soon be available through a future upgrade to the MagicOS version.
Speaking of the new features, the AI-powered recording tool will enable users to record direct meeting minutes using a native mobile app from the Plaud firm.
Details further revealed that after the complete development of the new AI recording feature, the company will push it to eligible devices through the upcoming MagicOS software upgrades.

Honor used to serve interesting AI features to its devices with every new MagicOS iteration. MagicOS 9 introduced the one-sentence feature to make orders, simplifying many operations. Whereas the MagicOS 10 brings smarter security tools.
Now the company has probably started working on the next-gen MagicOS iteration, and the new AI recording tool might be a part of it. Other major changes related to this feature are currently unclear. Though we may grab more revelations on this matter in the coming days.
