Looks like Xiaomi has ended the HyperOS 3 “holiday break” early this year, and new software updates are now coming to eligible devices. If you have been looking forward to a new firmware for your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone, then get ready to get one!
Xiaomi often pauses HyperOS update rollouts during the Chinese New Year. It halts the work, giving a 15 to 20-day long break to its employees and officials.
The same move was expected for this year. Spring Festival is still live and will end on March 3 (Began on February 27). But it appears Xiaomi has just ended the HyperOS 3 holiday break, and new software updates are coming soon.
Well, that’s because Xiaomi is preparing for a grand global launch event, where it will unveil the flagship Xiaomi 17 series and some more exciting products on Feb 28.
As noted by XiaomiTime, the company has started rolling out HyperOS 3 firmware for its devices on February 21. It is also testing internal builds, probably of the HyperOS 3.1, much earlier than expected.
Inputs further reveal that new software updates have even approached a few top global devices. The list of devices that are getting official HyperOS builds includes:
- Redmi Turbo 5: HyperOS 3.0.11.0
- POCO M6 Plus 5G/ Redmi 13 5G/ Redmi Note 13R: HyperOS 3.0.10.0
- POCO M6 Pro 4G/ Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G: HyperOS 3.0.4.0
- POCO M7 Plus/Redmi 15: HyperOS 2.0.208.0
- POCO C75 5G/ Redmi A4: HyperOS 3.0.3.0
Meanwhile, the internal testing devices are Xiaomi 13 Pro for HyperOS 3.0.2.0 and POCO X6 5G/Redmi Note 13 Pro for HyperOS 3.0.1.1. If you have not received the new updates, then wait patiently, as the company is rolling them out in batches.
