Xiaomi 17 Ultra will soon be available in the overseas markets, and before that, we have some live images which reveal new changes in the global unit. The device has notable shifts in its appearance compared to its Chinese sibling.
A tipster on X has shared live images of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global unit. It appeared to be the same as the one in China, until you pay close attention to it.
He says that the new “LEITZPHONE” is quite different from the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition in terms of appearance. The Leica logo appears vertically instead of a horizontal placement.
Secondly, the Xiaomi logo that used to be at the bottom in the horizontal format is now placed at the center of the back panel, vertically. That’s not it. Other changes include “champagne gold” color frames that match the rear camera module.
Besides, the left edge of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global unit shows engraved letters that say: LEICA CAMERA GERMANY. The watermark of the new device’s camera reads “LEITZPHONE powered by Xiaomi.”
In short, the global model of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition looks even more beautiful than its Chinese sibling. Whether it has the same level of robust specifications as the variant launched in China is worth looking forward to.
