A new Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 leak has shown interesting battery and health features ahead of tomorrow’s launch event. The wearable will likely bring major enhancements not only over its predecessor but also other Huawei Watch models.
WinFuture has shared a detailed blog on the internet, showing the design and health + sports features of the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2. It gives an early glimpse of the new wearable hours before its official unveiling.
Coming to the features, the leak says Huawei has significantly upgraded its new smartwatch. It has integrated a smarter ECG (electrocardiogram) sensor that now provides precise data for evaluating athletes’ training.
Besides, the Watch Runner gets the new HRV (Heart Rate Variability) capability to measure the specific, split-second variations in time between consecutive heartbeats.

AirDry Feature
This is a very special feature in the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2. It allows the band to keep raised threads in its place above the skin while constantly slits provide additional air circulation. The exact details of the wearable will be clear tomorrow.
Huawei has further used dual GPS support that will enable the wearable for highly accurate training of running routes. This feature can be related to the teased “Ultra Precision Positioning” for the Watch GT Runner 2.
Last but not least, the company has used a smarter Marathon Mode that will make the smartwatch a perfect running coach, which you can access right through your wrist.
Battery
Inputs reveal that the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 will bring an improved battery life in the GPS mode. It can run for 32 hours when GPS enabled and 14 days under normal usage.
