CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Unit – He Gang revealed that HarmonyOS 5/6 has crossed 47 million devices in installation and is now marching towards the 50 million milestone. No doubt, it may soon attain the new ambition.
In addition, the number of native apps and meta-services available in the Huawei AppGallery has now reached beyond 350,000. In every software aspect, the company is doing great, and that’s visible in the number of HarmonyOS installations.
Huawei CEO revealed that the company is constantly exploring new and significant features for its software system to enhance the overall device experience for users.
From AI to security, the Chinese tech giant is working on several add-ons that can continue to help users with their daily life operations without worrying about privacy risk.
In the current scenario, the company launched HarmonyOS 6.0.0.328 beta version for various devices, unlocking a whole new experience with interesting features.
Besides, Huawei seems to be planning major shifts in the self-developed software world. It might skip an entire generation next year and unveil a new iteration directly in 2028 – HarmonyOS 8 with dynamic surprises.
