A tipster revealed that Huawei Pura 90 series and the second-generation wide foldable phone could launch in April. These top-end models have been swirling in the leaks section for quite some time. Now they’re probably ready to go official.
DigitalChatStation stated that Huawei will soon begin pre-heating new-gen Pura smartphones internally. The company is currently prepping pre-launch marketing strategies for the Pura X2 and will announce it officially in the coming days.
The tipster said that both the Huawei Pura 90 series and the widescreen foldable could debut in April. Pura X2 will continue to maintain the tech giant’s position as the industry’s first horizontal large-size wide folding smartphone maker.
On the other hand, the company has reportedly registered the Pura 90 series. It will likely be the second flagship smartphone with a 200MP super large periscope sensor in the industry. It may debut alongside the Pura X2 next month.
Early inputs suggested that the Pura X2 small foldable is codenamed Hope. It’ll probably feature new color variants and an interesting design concept this time.

Adding more, the tipster revealed that the Pura 90 series will feature a single zoom camera. Meanwhile, Huawei will keep the “dual periscope” imaging setup exclusive to the Mate smartphones.
Huawei hasn’t shed light on what new devices it is bringing in April for its consumers. Compared to previous launches, the Pura X2 is seeing a delay this time, whereas the Pura 90 phones could arrive too soon.
