Honor 600 Pro vs Honor 500 Pro: What’s new and what’s better?

Honor has just unveiled its most powerful N smartphone yet – the Honor 600 Pro, and it’s time to check how the new model is better than its China-exclusive predecessor – Honor 500 Pro. From design to specs and features – here’s a detailed comparison!

Before we proceed, it is worth mentioning that the company hasn’t released the Honor 500 Pro smartphone globally following an old “even N series” pattern, where it used to launch only even-numbered N lineups worldwide.

Design:

Coming to the comparison, the Honor 600 Pro and Honor 500 Pro show major differences. Starting with the design, the former has not replicated the iPhone 17 Pro look, while the latter seems a twin of Apple’s slimmest handset – the iPhone Air.

Colors: Honor has also changed the color schemes for its newly launched digital model. Unlike the Honor 500 Pro with Blue, Pink, Silver, and Black, the 600 Pro has Orange, Golden White, and Black.

Display and Bezels:

Secondly, the Honor 500 Pro features 1.05mm thick bezels, whereas the new model is the first smartphone in the market to sport the thinnest bezels yet – 0.98mm, as thin as a string of a badminton racket.

Despite being a mid-range handset, the Honor 600 Pro supports 8000nits peak brightness – which we have seen only in three phones to date – Mate 80 Pro Max, Mate 80 RS, and the Honor Power 2.

Imaging Features:

Apart from the design and display parameters, the major changes lie in the imaging functions. Unlike the previous-gen model, the Honor 600 Pro has welcomed AI Image to Video 2.0, Cinematic-level VFX, multi-image to video, templates, and more.

Users can easily turn their boring snaps into a comic character or add more glory to them. The company has further upgraded the 200MP camera with CIPA 6.5 image stabilization.

You can check the specs comparison between the two devices below.
