Honor rumored for testing 14000mAh battery for future phone

After 11000mAh, Honor is rumored to launch a new phone with 14000mAh battery. The company is seemingly aiming for an even bigger cell pack for its future creations. If true, global rivals like Samsung could face fierce competition.

Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation reported that one of the top five phone brands is quietly working on a new battery with a capacity of 14000mAh. While the leak doesn’t reveal the tech vendor name, netizens speculated it to be HONOR.

Many smartphone brands still ship a 5000 or a 6000mAh battery and are planning to introduce a bigger cell pack. Although the Chinese tech giant has already mastered this skill.

Last year, Honor launched many phones and tablets featuring the largest battery capacity – X70, Magic 8 series, WIN Series, and Power 2 handsets. The first two models equip 7000 to 8000mAh cell packs, whereas the latter models have 10000mAh.

And in the current scenario, Honor is rumored to have a 14000mAh battery phone in the pipeline. The company has become a significant brand when it comes to batteries, and hence, the leak immediately hints at HONOR.

It is unclear what exactly the company is planning for its upcoming devices. Though things may come into light as we move ahead in the time.
