Huawei has launched an impressive feature – 3D Image Wallpaper with the Pura 90 series last month, and the company may push this capability to more devices starting in June. It has already released the new function to some models via the latest update.
3D Image Wallpaper is an interesting feature in the recently unveiled Huawei Pura 90 devices. It brings more vivid lock screen wallpapers with images or your own photos changing in real-time as you move the screen.
When a user performs gestures like two-finger swipes or shakes the handset, the image moves or responds in real-time with a three-dimensional effect. It uses a built-in spatial depth functionality in the background – more interaction, more immersion.
One should note that this feature is limited to the lock screen. It can support showing the 3D image effect and dynamic motion only on the lock screen of the device.
Now the company is planning to bring this feature to more devices. As per the official page, Huawei will expand 3D Image Wallpaper support to older models with the HarmonyOS 6.1. It has even started pushing it via 6.1.0.120 software versions.
Perhaps the respective feature will likely reach all compatible models by next month. You can check all the eligible smartphones and tablets for this tool below.
