Huawei has launched the refreshed editions of the MatePad 11.5 S and Air 12-inch tablets with a significant price hike. The former model debuts with a Dynamic variant in Space Gray color scheme, while the latter comes with HarmonyOS Refresh Edition.
Early leaks suggested that Huawei will launch new tablets this month with increased prices. Looks like the company has now released these devices in the market.
The company hasn’t officially announced the two tablets. It directly listed the new tablet variants on the Huawei Mall store. Perhaps it will soon remove the original models due to the pressure of the rising component cost.
Speaking of the price, Huawei has really increased prices for the MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic and the Air 12-inch HarmonyOS refreshed editions by 500 to 800 yuan.
MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic Edition with HarmonyOS renewed version (SLG-W50) starts at 2999 yuan. The device comes in four storage variants with different colors:
- MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic (Space Gray; 8GB + 256GB) = 2999 yuan
- MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic (Gray, Silver; 12GB + 256GB) = 3299 yuan
- MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic PaperMatte (Gray, Silver, Green, Purple; 8GB + 256GB) = 3599 yuan
- MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic PaperMatte (Space Gray; 12GB + 512GB) = 3999 yuan
For comparison, the original 11.5 S version starts at 2199 yuan and its Smart PaperMatte begins at 2799 yuan. The current pricing is nearly 800 yuan more than the previous version.

On the other hand, the MatePad Air 12-inch HarmonyOS Refresh Edition (LRT-W20, LRT-W30) is also available in four RAM + storage options with these prices:
- MatePad Air (Gray, White, Pink, Green; 12GB + 256GB) = 3799 yuan
- MatePad Air (Sand White; 12GB + 512GB) = 4199 yuan
- MatePad Air PaperMatte (Sand White; 12GB + 256GB) = 4099 yuan
- MatePad Air PaperMatte (Gray, White; 12GB + 512GB) = 4499 yuan
Meanwhile, the original version begins at 3099 yuan. After launching these new editions, whether Huawei will remove the previous models from the Mall is uncertain at present.
