Huawei has started teasing new products for the China launch, but the Nova 16 series is still missing from the “teaser frame” – though the wait may end on May 25. According to a recent leak, the company could begin warming up mid-rangers next week.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, Huawei may drop the first launch teaser of the Nova 16 series on May 25. That aligns well with the expected official release of the new phones.
Up to this point, the Chinese tech giant has confirmed only one product – the MatePad Pro Max for sale on June 1st. Other devices in the queue count a new FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition, and who knows – there could be more mysterious products.

Besides, the Huawei Nova 16 handsets could feature HarmonyOS 6.1 just like the Pura 90 series flagship. It might debut with a 7000mAh battery with a 100W fast power adapter. It would be quite interesting to see how many of these specifications turn out to be official!
