Huawei has announced the chip details of the MatePad Pro Max for the first time in many years! The company unveiled which Kirin processor will power up the flagship tablet and help in maintaining stability, and enhance efficiency during intense tasks.
This afternoon, Huawei gave a glimpse of the MatePad Pro Max Chinese version at the HarmonyOS Office New Product Technology Communication Conference.
During the event, the OEM announced the Huawei MatePad Pro Max 5G chip details. Starting with the name, the top-tier tablet will feature the Kirin T93 Pro processor.
Notably, it’s probably for the first time, after the US sanctions, that Huawei has publicly revealed the chipset information of its high-end MatePad Pro tablet line.
According to the details, the MatePad Pro Max has four ultimate factors such as software, hardware, chipset, and cloud technologies, that can improve its overall system performance by 45%. These major implementations are as follows:
- Efficient heat dissipation system
- Kirin T93 Pro
- HarmonyOS 6
- Richer HarmonyOS Ecosystem

Following these points, some tipsters suggested that the Kirin T93 Pro can be the baseband-less version of the flagship Kirin 9030 Pro mobile chipset. If true, it will likely deliver even more powerful performance on the upcoming MatePad tablet.
Other features, like display parameters and dimensions, are similar to the global version. Huawei revealed that the new tablet brings PC-level apps like Eastmoney, CapCut Pro, and ZWCAD Personal Edition. More features will come into light on June 1st.
