Huawei Pura 90 series is on its way to hit the consumer market with some cutting-edge imaging capabilities, and one of these is going to be a special 3D dynamic photo feature. This will probably be the first time that a Huawei flagship supports the new high-end imaging tool.
Today, the company has shared the first “3D dynamic photo” of Jackson Yee, the global brand ambassador for the Huawei Pura 90 series. It reveals that the upcoming flagship supports a prominent photo capability.
3D dynamic photo in the Huawei Pura 90 series will refer to a feature that appears to have depth, volume, and movement. It’s more like a 3D effect on a 2D screen.
Often known as spatial pictures or wiggle 3D images, the feature is capable of utilizing depth data and allows the image to shift perspective when the phone is tilted.
Many OPPO and Xiaomi smartphones already support this feature, using AI to turn two-dimensional images into spatial ones by analyzing the main subject, background, and other key components of the picture, and adding depth to them.

In other words, 3D motion photos can record the spatial details of a snap like the posture of the subject, the layers of light and shadow, and more, locking in every detail. One can observe the changes while rotating or zooming in on the screen.
Huawei says:
“Please check #HuaweiPura90# Series Global Spokesperson @TFBOYS-Yi Yang Qianxi, the first 3D dynamic photo. #XMAGE Smart photography is very good at shooting#”
Pura 90 series will go official on April 20. And in the meantime, the OEM is constantly highlighting the key features of this flagship lineup. Based on the latest teaser, it seems Huawei has seeded many interesting imaging capabilities in the upcoming phones.
