Huawei Pura X Max is making great deals in the sales market, but looks like the company has more foldable phones in its pipeline to launch this year. Besides the recently launched wide-screen fold, the OEM may soon drop two more creations.
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation noted that Huawei has covered almost all types of the “foldable phones” category at the launch stage. From a clamshell to an inward book-style and even cutting-edge triple-folding handsets.
Adding more, the tipster suggested that Huawei is no longer experimenting with new form factors – for this year at least. Instead, it will focus on offering customers purpose-built folding devices that can improve their daily life experience.
Following the launch of Pura X – a small wide foldable, and the Pura X Max – a large + wide-screen foldable, the company will simply iterate its product line this year.

Thus, the next two folding phones coming this year in the Huawei family are the Mate X – a large book-type model, and the Mate XT 2 – a triple foldable smartphone.
At the same time, the tipster commented that Samsung may stop making tri-fold phones if the upcoming one doesn’t sell well. Meanwhile, Huawei could continue to drop its innovative triple-folding creation in the market with better upgrades.
It is worth mentioning that the same tipster talked about a foldable tablet that will join the Huawei fold lineup by next year. Check more details about this device below.
