Huawei has three incredible folding devices for the second half of this year – a tri-fold, Mate X8, and the new-gen MateBook Fold PC with some bashful colors and specifications. The latest reveals what the 2026 folding notebook can bring to the table.
As noted by DigitalChatStation, Huawei has many heavyweight products for H2 2026. The list includes new flagship phones, tablets, and amazing PC models.
One of these is the new-gen Huawei MateBook Fold PC that will bring more colors, updated screen technology, and a reduced price structure over the previous version.
The leak says that the 2026 MateBook Fold PC can feature three new shades this time: Streaming Gold, Sky White, and Phantom Black. Last year, the company unveiled the world’s first 18-inch folding computer in three colors:
- Shadow Black
- Cloud Blue
- Sky White
- Crimson Red (added later)
But the 2026 model may introduce a glorious golden colorway for the FOLD PC. In addition to colors, the device may bring three storage options with reduced pricing: 24GB + 512GB, 24GB + 1TB, and 32GB + 2TB.

Huawei used a 32GB memory variant coupled with 1TB and 2TB storage options for the first-generation notebook. However, it looks like the company will offer consumers more internal storage variants to ease the selection as per needs.
MateBook Fold PC 2026 computer can use an ultra-large OLED screen with a robust hinge mechanism. The tipster mentioned that currently, no foldable laptop can compete with Huawei’s new product.
For comparison, the first-gen folding computer used a dual-layer flexible OLED panel that opens to 18 inches and becomes a 13-inch when folded. It offers a peak brightness of 1600 nits, supporting a P3 wide color gamut.
What exactly Huawei is cooking for the next-gen foldable PC model is unclear at present. Let’s wait for more revelations on this matter.
