Pura 90 Pro Max is all set to step into the overseas market and it’s going to be the first global Huawei phone with 5G capability. After using 4G network for its international handsets for so long, the company is finally welcoming 5G technology this month.
A TikTok user named supermas has just showcased the global Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max version, running on a 5G network. The blogger uploaded a video, revealing that the new flagship is the first Huawei handset to run at an incredible 5G speed.
The video focuses on the tiny 5G indicator in the status bar. Supermas even conducts a network speed test in the clip, where the Pura 90 Pro Max crossed 1100Mbps.
Huawei’s new global phone’s speed test implies that it will deliver an ultimate download speed – perfect for those who need to install files or apps on a large scale, daily.
An Indonesian website named TKDN has also certified the Pura 90 Pro Max global variant with the model number SCA-LX9 as a 5G Huawei smartphone.

Real Comeback
It’s a real comeback for Huawei in the 5G global smartphone market. Being sanctioned by the US in 2019, the company was prohibited from launching 5G smartphones.
For the first 4 years, the tech giant relied on 4G devices for its annual revenue. However, the Mate 60 Pro broke the bottleneck by bringing back the Kirin 5G chip. Still, Huawei didn’t introduce it in the global market due to tech trade rules.
Mate 70 series quietly made its way to Russia and Mate 80 Pro hasn’t revealed any such indicator yet. But the Pura 90 Pro Max is a key breakthrough for the OEM as it is expanding Huawei’s 5G growth on the global stage for the first time in a while.
Perhaps the phone maker will shed more light on this subject by July 14. Stay tuned.
