Redmi K90 Max runs Geekbench, confirms its high-end chipset

Redmi will unveil the K90 Max later this month alongside the K Pad 2. The K90 Max will feature the biggest fan ever seen in a smartphone, which can allegedly reduce the internal temperature by up to 10 degrees Celsius in just 100 seconds of running time.

The Redmi K90 Max has now seemingly been spotted in the Geekbench online database with the model number 2604FRK1EC, since someone in possession of a prototype ran the benchmark on it. As you can see in the screenshot below, it managed a single-core score of 3,513 and a multi-core score of 10,711 in Geekbench 6.6.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM in the specific prototype that ran the benchmark. Obviously, Redmi could offer other RAM options upon launch. Unsurprisingly, the device will run Android 16 when it launches, with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top.

According to rumors, the K90 Max has a 6.83-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, and an 8,500 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. Despite the presence of the fan, it will still be IP66 and IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance.
