A new piece of information revealed that Huawei will launch HarmonyOS 7 in June this year with prominent AI surprises. While the company is currently busy expanding its latest version, it will soon introduce the next software iteration to its users.
FixedFocus noted that Huawei will host the HDC programme in mid-to-late June this year, where the HarmonyOS 7 will debut with bigger and smarter AI surprises.
That’s really big news as Huawei was expected to ditch any new version this year. The company was in the headlines for improving its current software build and expanding it to old models while launching HarmonyOS 8 directly in 2028.
Following the testing of the new software system, the Huawei Mate 90 series will be the first phone lineup to probably bring the stable build of the upcoming upgrade.
Details further reveal that the new HarmonyOS version will introduce some AI scenario-based capabilities. It may improve daily-life tasks as well as office-based productive operations to a greater extent.

In the past two years, Huawei has significantly optimized its self-made operating system for smartphones, tablets, smart cars, home appliances, and now even PCs.
The Chinese tech giant says that HarmonyOS has become a true OS for all devices. It aims for three major cores: a smarter, safer, and easier-to-understand experience for users. No doubt, the upcoming version will continue to follow this idea.
At present, Huawei is busy with the alleged HarmonyOS 6.1 version. It’ll likely unlock some interesting customizations and improvements for the devices. You can check a few details HERE.
What new changes HarmonyOS 7 will bring to the table are uncertain at present. However, the company may unveil the curtains on this topic in the forthcoming months. Stay tuned.
