Not two or three, but the all-new Huawei Nova 16 series is bringing four soft-looking models with interesting colorways and up to 1TB storage variants. The company is giving more options to its consumers, even in the mid-range smartphone market.
Starting with the names, the Huawei Nova 16 series consists of four models, including a new 16z variant, standard variant, Pro, and ULTRA instead of the PRO MAX.
The very first thing that becomes clear is that Huawei is unlikely to introduce any PRO MAX version to the Nova 16 series, ditching the long-running Ultra smartphone.
While many rumors have been speculating that Huawei Nova 16 series will adopt the Pro Max version, just like the Mate, Pura, and Enjoy lineups, it seems the company will keep certain things original in its smartphone world – like Nova 16 Ultra.
As per the information, the Nova 16 Ultra will bring up to 1TB storage option alongside an all-clear Blue color, which shows a diagonal line below the lens bump, running across the back panel.

Nova 16 Pro can bring up to 512GB of storage. It shows a wavy pattern on the back in white color over a blue background. The standard model has 256GB of storage as the highest option for the device. It follows a similar design to the Pro version. Though the change is the second imaging ring, which is void, and the inner circle has a flash.
Coming to the last and interesting model, the Nova 16z has up to 256GB of storage and an impressive Pearl shade with a fusion of pink, blue, and purple. It shows a vertical, wide pill-like camera bump housing a squarish frame inside the frame.
Two LED flashes appear on the top and bottom of the frame. Other details about these models are unclear at present. Though the company may soon drop more highlights of these handsets via teasers.
